Deputy MASLOC CEO, Mr. Asamoah Obidombi, has emphasized the need for new leadership in Ghana, stating that expecting different results from a one-time president “defies logic.” He argued that recycling leaders who have failed to deliver in the past is not a viable solution for the country’s progress.
Addressing the KNUST Tescon Unity Dinner, Mr. Asamoah urged the audience to reject the National Democratic Congress (NDC), citing their lack of new ideas and policies. “Their stale policies have proven incapable of moving our country forward,” he said.
In contrast, Mr. Asamoah expressed confidence in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and his running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh. He described them as the “real hope for a brighter future,” highlighting their vision, expertise, and leadership abilities as ideal for taking Ghana to the next level.
Mr. Asamoah also commended Tescon for their efforts and offered support for their programs. He encouraged them to share their message of hope and progress with the wider public, saying, “It’s time to take your activities to the entire nation.”
Overall, Mr. Asamoah’s message emphasized the need for new leadership and fresh ideas to drive Ghana’s progress, while expressing confidence in the NPP’s ability to deliver positive change.
