The running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, has emphasized that the NPP is the only party that can bring progress and prosperity to every corner of Ghana. He made this statement while meeting with chiefs, clergy, and various stakeholders at Tepa in the Ahafo Ano North of the Ashanti Region.

Dr. Prempeh highlighted the NPP’s achievements, including the free Senior High School (SHS) policy, which has alleviated the suffering of parents and increased student enrollment. He also touched on the Technical and Vocational training program, which provides artisans with the opportunity to acquire skills.

The NPP running mate asserted that the party has demonstrated its ability to bring progress and prosperity to all parts of the country, citing its record in office. He emphasized the need for a decisive leader to address pressing issues such as economic development, social inequality, and infrastructure improvement, and expressed confidence that the next NPP government is well-positioned to do so.

During his visit, Dr. Prempeh met with various groups, including chiefs, Christian and Muslim clergy, dressmakers, hairdressers, and beauticians. He was received warmly by supporters, who chanted praises and displayed placards highlighting the NPP’s policies and achievements.

Tepa Manhene, Dr. Nana Adusei Atwenewa Ampem, assured Dr. Prempeh of his blessings and presented him with a cloth to keep for the day he will be crowned. The Manhene also requested developments in the area.
