Leicester City Make Move for Jordan Ayew

Leicester City have submitted a £4million bid for Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew, according to reports. The Foxes have been tracking the Ghanaian international for some time and have now made their move.

However, Crystal Palace are holding out for a higher fee, valuing Ayew at around £10million. This significant difference in valuation could potentially scupper the deal, unless Leicester City are willing to increase their offer.

Ayew has been a key player for Crystal Palace since joining the club in 2019, scoring important goals and providing a physical presence up front. His experience and ability would undoubtedly be an asset to Leicester City, who are looking to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.

Despite Leicester City’s interest, Ayew is also attracting attention from Saudi clubs, who are reportedly still in the running to sign the 31-year-old. This could provide Ayew with alternative options, should he decide to leave Crystal Palace.

It remains to be seen whether Leicester City will increase their bid to meet Crystal Palace’s valuation, or whether Ayew will opt for a move to Saudi Arabia.
