Election 2024: We need to apologize to Ghanaians

Kennedy Agyapong, the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, has proposed a new strategy he believes will secure victory for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 elections. Speaking at the campaign launch for the Ablekuma South constituency, Agyapong emphasized the importance of humility and acknowledging past mistakes in the party’s campaign message.

Agyapong stressed that the key to winning the 2024 elections is for party members to openly admit that their decisions and indecisions contributed to Ghana’s current economic difficulties. “We need to approach this with humility, apologize to Ghanaians, and admit our mistakes before we can convince anyone to vote for us. Ignoring the hardships Ghanaians are facing will only alienate them,” he said.

He urged party members to acknowledge the economic challenges and promise to do better. “Let’s give the NPP another chance, and I believe we have learned our lessons. We must all actively support Dr. Bawumia [NPP flagbearer] to win,” Agyapong added.

Additionally, Agyapong committed to being an active participant in the campaign, helping Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia secure victory in the upcoming elections. He expressed confidence that with the right messaging and tactics, the NPP will prevail, as Ghanaians recognize it as the better choice among the leading parties.
