NPP National Communication Team Member Turns Independent Candidate in Shock Move

Mr. Emmanuel Osei Gyamfi, a prominent member of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) National Communication Team, has decided to contest for the Member of Parliament (MP) seat in the Atwima Nwabiagya North constituency as an independent candidate.

Popularly known as Emma NPP, Mr. Gyamfi has been a key figure in the NPP’s communication team and has been instrumental in shaping the party’s message and strategy. However, he has now decided to shun his party and run as an independent candidate in the upcoming elections.

Mr. Gyamfi made his intentions known during a campaign launch at the Atwima Koforidua Market Square, where he assured his constituents of good leadership that caters to their real needs. He touted himself as the perfect candidate for the job, possessing knowledge, wisdom, empathy, and care for the people.

As a Senior Administrative Manager of the Ghana Health Service, Mr. Gyamfi has expressed his commitment to boosting health service delivery in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District. He has promised to build an oxygen plant in the area, a facility that is currently lacking in the entire Ashanti region.

In addition to improving healthcare, Mr. Gyamfi has also pledged to enhance education in the constituency and strive for avenues to boost economic activities in the area. He believes that his independent candidacy will allow him to serve the people better, without being tied to party affiliations.

Mr. Gyamfi’s decision to run as an independent candidate has sent shockwaves through the political landscape in Ghana, with many speculating about the reasons behind his move. Some have suggested that he may have fallen out with the NPP leadership, while others believe he is seeking to capitalize on his popularity in the constituency.

Regardless of the reasons, Mr. Gyamfi’s candidacy is expected to shake up the political landscape in Atwima Nwabiagya North, and his promises of good leadership, improved healthcare, education, and economic opportunities have resonated with many constituents.
