In a bold and prophetic declaration, Very Reverend Prof. Francis Amevenku, District Pastor of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church Ghana (EP Church Ghana) Amenuveve Congregation Kisseman, has predicted that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will emerge victorious in this year’s general elections.
Speaking during a visit from the Okaikwei North MP, Hon. Theresa Lardi Awuni, and her team, Prof. Amevenku emphasized that God has revealed to him that John Dramani Mahama, the NDC’s flagbearer, will emerge as the next president of Ghana. The pastor urged Mahama to remain vigilant and prayerful, as God will bring peace to the country.
Prof. Amevenku also mentioned that Mr. Adecoker, former regional chairman of the NDC, is aware of his prediction and it will come to pass. This statement adds weight to the prophecy, as it suggests that the NDC leadership is already aware of the divine plan.
Hon. Theresa Lardi Awuni, Member of Parliament for Okaikwei North constituency, also spoke during the visit, lamenting the current state of the country. She emphasized the need for the church to lead the nation and guide the country towards a better future under the leadership of John Dramani Mahama.
Awuni assured the church and her constituents that she will avoid any election-related violence and threats, and instead work towards a peaceful transition of power. She also called on the church to support her and Mahama in their efforts to “reset and build this nation for a better future development.”
