Madam Joana Cudjoe, the chairperson of the John Mahama campaign in the Amenfi Central constituency and also the parliamentary candidate, has expressed confidence that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will secure 98% of the votes in the upcoming December 7 parliamentary and presidential elections.
During a presentation of two Toyota Hilux pickup vehicles to aid in the campaign, Madam Cudjoe stated that despite the challenges facing the party, including a court case challenging her legitimacy as the parliamentary candidate, she remains optimistic about the NDC’s chances.

The Western Regional Chairman of the NDC, Nana Kojo Toku, received the vehicles and echoed Madam Cudjoe’s sentiments, stating that the party’s fortunes in the Amenfi Central constituency remain strong. He added that the vehicles will enhance their campaign efforts.
However, it is important to note that Madam Cudjoe’s candidacy is currently being challenged in court, which may impact the party’s chances in the constituency.
The NDC is working to garner resources and support in the lead-up to the 2024 general elections, and the presentation of the vehicles is part of these efforts.”
