Ghanaian music duo Keche has announced that their dispute with fellow artist Kuami Eugene regarding the hit song ‘No Dulling’ has been resolved. The group shared this update during an interview on TV3’s New Day on Tuesday, July 16.
“With Kuami Eugene’s issue, it’s past. We have sorted that. We solved that issue,” Keche stated.
The disagreement began in 2023 when Kuami Eugene claimed in an interview that he wrote the lyrics for ‘No Dulling.’ Keche disputed this, asserting that Andrew, one of their members, wrote the song. Eugene later reiterated his claim on The Delay Show, saying he wrote the entire song and that Keche played a minor role in its recording. Despite the dispute, Eugene expressed his willingness to collaborate with Keche again if the opportunity arises.
Released in 2020, ‘No Dulling’ became a popular hit, enjoyed by many. Moving forward, Keche discussed their new collaboration with King Paluta on their latest song, ‘My Father’. They noted that the collaboration was seamless. “We just had to send a song to him and in a couple of days, he did his best. We didn’t even meet at the studio,” Keche shared.
