The minister for interior, Mr Henry Quartey has said, the country may be plugged into insecurity through false information being shared from minority to the public.

Mr Quartey refuted allegations made by the minority claiming that the interior ministry is planning to recruit about 11,000 people into the security services and also allocating 30 slots to each Parliamentary candidate of the NPP , he said all those allegations are false.

He further said, there’s no plans for recruiting new people into any of the security services and even, if there should be, the opportunity must be given those who have previously gone through the process and was qualified in order to clear all those who would be qualified after allowing them to go through the processes Once again.

Finally, the minister added, the interior ministry has no hand in the recruitment process into any of the security agencies since that is a so prerogative of the security agencies to conduct their our own recruitment.
