Asante Kotoko Secures Congolese Defender Ndongani Samba on Two-Year Deal

Asante Kotoko, one of Ghana’s most successful football clubs, has announced the signing of Congolese defender Ndongani Samba Gilbani Oneil on a two-year contract. The talented defender joins the Porcupine Warriors from Rahimo FC in Burkina Faso, bolstering the team’s defense ahead of the upcoming season.

Ndongani Samba’s impressive performance in the Burkinabe top-flight last season caught the attention of Kotoko’s scouts, leading to his signing. The Congolese defender has a proven track record, having played for Nigerien clubs AS Douanes and Sahel SC before moving to Burkina Faso in 2021.

Asante Kotoko’s management expressed their delight in securing Ndongani Samba’s services, stating that he will be an integral part of the team’s quest for success in the upcoming season. The signing of Ndongani Samba marks the fourth major acquisition for Kotoko in the off-season, following the signings of Emmanuel Antwi, Esmat Hassabalbagi, and Yoouef Yagoub.

The Porcupine Warriors are poised to make a strong impact in the Ghana Premier League and African competitions, and Ndongani Samba’s addition to the team is a clear indication of the club’s determination to strengthen their squad and compete at the highest level.
