Willian Leaves Olympiacos After Mutual Contract Termination
The former Premier League winner is looking for a new club after his release from Olympiacos.
Former Chelsea, Arsenal and Fulham winger Willian has become a free agent at the age of 36 after being released by Greek side Olympiacos on Monday.
The former Brazil international joined the club on a free transfer this summer after his contract at Craven Cottage expired. Willian was offered a new contract by the London outfit after making 37 appearances in all competitions last season but has decided to seek a new challenge abroad.
Willian has made just 11 appearances for Olympiacos this season but has now mutually agreed to terminate his contract with the club. This will allow the player to join another team as a free agent if he wishes.
The winger registered one assist during his time with the Greek side, in a 3-0 league win over Volos NPS, but struggled to get regular playing time due to an ankle injury and muscle damage. He never scored for the club.
