Popular Kumawood actor Wayoosi has shed light on the longstanding feud between his colleagues, Mr. Beautiful and Agya Koo, dismissing claims that their differences are rooted in political affiliations. According to Wayoosi, the conflict originated from feelings of disrespect during a movie production, not politics.

“It started when some producers on the set began treating one person better than the other. The other person felt disrespected. That’s where the feud began. It’s not about politics,” Wayoosi explained.

The two actors were notably at odds during the campaign period leading up to the December 7, 2024, general elections, sparking speculation among fans and netizens. Many believed the tension stemmed from their differing political loyalties, with Mr. Beautiful being a staunch supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Agya Koo aligned with the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Mr. Beautiful had previously accused Agya Koo of spreading falsehoods about NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama, while Agya Koo fired back, claiming Mr. Beautiful was seeking clout to revive his fading career.

Wayoosi’s clarification offers a new perspective on the feud, suggesting that personal dynamics on set, rather than political affiliations, ignited the rift between the two actors.
